Beautiful Foxe Basin

This tour operates out of West Baffin. Everyday we travel the area for nature sightings, and every night we enjoy the aurora through geodesic domes. The Aurora wildlife tours are limited to four guests per tour, but we accept single travellers and single accommodation at no extra charge.

Itinerary

Day 1

Arrive in Iqaluit (the capital of Nunavut). Overnight in Iqaluit

Day 2

Board a charter aircraft from Iqaluit to the shores of West Baffin Island, where you will land a few miles from our camp in the middle of nowhere.

Travel by snow machine to camp, enjoy a great meal, and relax in your northern light show sleep dome.

Day 3-8

Experience the wildlife and aurora of remote Western Baffin on the shores of Foxe Basin.

Day 9

Travel back to the airstrip to charter back to Iqaluit
