Booking & Cancellation

50% of tour cost is required to confirm a booking. Deposits for confirmation are non refundable, but transferable to future tours. All our Safari trips include the following:

Inclusions, exclusions, and accomodations

Inclusions

  • Accommodation (double occupancy - single available by request for additional fees). The last night of the trip will be spent in a hotel. The remaining nights will be spent at the exclusive Baffin Safari Base camp.

  • Travel to and from base camp by skidoo.

  • All scheduled expedition events and activities such as dogsledding, boating, etc…

  • All meals and transportation through the scheduled expedition dates.

  • Expert Baffin Safari expedition guides, including local Inuit guides.

Not included 

  • Flights to and from Ottawa.

  • Accommodation in Ottawa.

  • Flights to and from special locations (We are happy to assist with special rates and bookings).

  • Tips, gratuities, personal expenses.

  • Travel, medical and evacuation insurance coverage.

  • Any additional nights in hotel due to trip extension or additional charge for single occupancy (subject to availability).

  • Any unforeseen additional costs associated with weather and/or layovers in Pond Inlet, Iqaluit or Ottawa including flight changes, additional hotels and meals.

Insurance

All Baffin Safari guests will be required to have both full medical insurance and insurance for emergency evacuation and search & rescue coverage. Trip cancellation / interruption insurance and personal property insurance are also very strongly recommended.
